Gediz University, Turkey

Gediz University is a private, non-profit organization. Its main objective is to ensure an accessible, welcoming studying and learning environment for students from all over the world. Gediz University was founded on 2008, and it has currently 5.387 Students. 397 students from 5.387 are international students from 74 different countries. The university has also international exchange and academic relations with 111 universities from 25 countries.

Gediz University is located on the western part of Turkey, in Izmir, which is Turkey's third most populous city having the country's largest port, industry and a market growth with great business potentials. The university is supported by the industrial foundation of Izmir Region which is composed of different industrial organizations and managements units.

The University has so far established the School of Engineering and Architecture, the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences, The School of Law, School of Arts and Science and the Vocational School in order to keep abreast of constantly changing scientific and technological advances, to create a society that has the power to compete in the international arena, and to educate individuals that are qualified to keep up with the global progress in all areas.

Within the SIBE programs Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Management, Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Innovation and Technology Management and Master of Arts (M.A.) in General Management students will study at our partner university GU. After successful completion, additionally to the German M.Sc. or M.A degree, students will receive the title MBA (Gediz Universitesi Izmir, Turkey) by the GU.
